Martin, thanks for the comment. That must have been an amazing few days on the Monterey Peninsula. I was lucky enough to play Cypress Point when I was living in SF and you are right, it doesn't get much better. That's golf heaven right there. MacKenzie knows how to design a golf course!
I got to see Pebble during the AT&T and the views and the layout are unbelievable. Heard fantastic things about Spyglass too. What an amazing collection of courses in such a small area. I feel a golf trip coming on!

I was fortunate enough to play a Pro Am at Pebble Beach back in May 2009. We played Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills. Words cannot describe how amazing 17 Mile Drive is! Unfortunately, didn't get a game at Cypress Point (obviously) but as you look across the Peninsular towards it location, one feels a jittery feeling in the stomach whilst imagining just how good a course it must be. If you are a golfer, then this is a once in a lifetime experience that you can't miss!
